When I started at Hvisk they were a jewellery brand but they decided to branch out to various accessories with a focus on bags. This meant that I had to apply my skills from jewellery design of more geometric solid forms to more organic forms and workout how to best 2D & 3D model soft fabrics instead of just hard surfaces and how to combine them. I very much enjoyed the assignment and the chance to challenge my skills with a new task. I happily found that a lot of my abilities that I had thought of as quite niche were transferable to other products and subject matters, expanding my area of expertise.
