Research & Business Analysis
Our first step was to research and understand Trollbeads as a brand, consumers and as a product. Once we had a better understanding then we were able to start researching the target audience and start ideating on our collection and designs.

We used various business models we have learnt during our education so far, I have gone into these in more detail in the previous projects.






Design & Prototyping
For our designs we decided not to make a collection that looked necessarily cohesive but in thought and message made sense.
All of the designs were to be created in 3D and then printed in resin before being cast in silver.
​
There were many considerations but the major one were cost and functionality as they were all individual beads and had to fit onto different 'carrier' pieces and work together with other beads also.
